Projector Doesn't Display What's On My Laptop

Sometimes when you plug your laptop into your projector you may find that it doesn't show what's currently displayed on your laptop, but instead it shows your laptop's background on the screen.

This is caused by your laptop treating your projector as a second monitor instead of a mirrored display.

You can fix this by following the below steps:

1. Open "System Settings" on your laptop when it's plugged into the projector.
2. Select the "Displays" option on the left side.
3. Locate the drop down menu labeled “Use As”.
4. Select “Mirror” in the drop down menu
5. Close the System Settings app
