How To Install Applications From The 'Self Service' Application

The Self Service application comes deployed with every iPad and MacBook device that gets handed out at BCCS. It's job is to install already approved District apps and or update existing apps on your MacBook without the need of admin privileges. Let's take a look on how to use it. In this example I am going to install ‘Numbers’ application.

1. First, locate the Self Service app on your MacOS device (Icon below)

2. Once opened, locate the app you need installed or you can search for the app in the top right corner of Self Service

3. Once located, click Instal.

Optional: If you need your Zoom application updated, you can also do so in Self Service.

(Please Note, certain applications that are not on Self Service will need approval from the Technology Manager before they can be deployed and they would need to adhere to our digital policies as well.)
