Connect to Ditto from a Windows Computer to Apple TV
- Use the Apple TV remote to access the main screen and locate the Ditto app, and click on it
- Once you open the Ditto app, you will see the main screen for it as shown below
- On the Ditto main screen, in the bottom left corner, you will see a Room Code. Go to the site listed from the Windows computer browser you want to present from (connect.goditto.com) and enter the Room Code. In our example, the room code is 'DO-BOARD-ROOM'. The room code will vary.
- Once the Room Code is entered, screen mirroring will present them with the following options
- In here, the screen will show up with three different options. Do not select Option 2.
Option 1: if the presenter wants to share their entire laptop screen, including local applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Option 2: if the presenter only wants to share their browser and or cloud applications that are viewed through a browser.
Please be aware if the presenter is from an outside organization (None BCCS issued device) and they don't have admin privileges to install applications on their laptop, we cannot install it for them. and must select Option 3 (browser only)
A few things to note:
- Not every district deployed Apple TV will have the Ditto app. The Ditto is generally deployed to areas where presentations and or conferences happen frequently.
- If this is used for a guest presenter, they will more than likely want to use the Wifi as well. The Wifi network for guests is (BCCS_Guest), and the password is (Centaur286)- case sensitive.
